How to play Jigsaw Race
- Every player gets the same photo, cut into the same pieces — they start scattered across a table and you fit them to each other, just like a real jigsaw.
- Two pieces that belong side by side click together when you drop one next to the other, and move as a single clump from then on. The picture is done once every piece is joined.
- Or pick On a grid when you create the game: every piece has its own slot on a board — drag it out of the tray and drop it close enough to snap it into place and lock it there.
- Choose Easy, Medium, or Hard when you create the game — 16, 25, or 36 pieces.
- Toggle the guide to show or hide a faded copy of the finished picture as a reference while you work.
- Watch your rivals' progress climb live; the first player to finish the picture wins. Go solo to chase your best time.

How do you play Jigsaw Race?
Every player gets the same photo cut into the same pieces, scattered across a table. There is no board to snap into — you fit the pieces to each other instead, just like a real jigsaw. Two pieces that belong side by side click together when you drop one next to the other, and from then on they move as a single unit, so you can build the picture in sections and slide them around wherever you like. You win once every piece is joined.
Can I do the puzzle on a grid instead?
Yes — choose On a grid when you create the game. Every piece then has its own slot on a board: drag a piece out of the tray and drop it where you think it belongs — land close enough to its slot and it snaps into place and locks there. Drop it anywhere else and it simply stays in the tray.
What do the difficulty levels change?
Easy cuts the picture into 16 pieces, Medium into 25, and Hard into 36. Your best time is tracked separately for each — and separately again for freeform — so a hard finish never gets buried under an easy one.
Can I see the finished picture while I play?
Yes — turn the guide on from the button above the board and a faded copy of the finished picture sits in the middle of the table as a reference and a place to build. It starts off so you work it out from the pieces alone; on a grid it shows through the board from the start and you can toggle it off the same way.
How many players can play Jigsaw Race?
Up to 6 players assemble the same cut at once and you can watch everyone’s progress climb live; the first to finish the picture wins. Playing alone turns it into a time trial against your own personal best.
