How to play Carousel
- Each turn you must draw a card; if you cannot meld you may draw up to three before ending — there is no discard.
- Lay down runs (same suit in sequence) and sets (same rank, different suits), and lay cards off onto melds already on the table.
- You may rearrange every meld on the table however you like, as long as you add at least one card from your hand and leave it all in legal melds. Jokers are wild.
- Knock when your remaining cards total 5 points or fewer to end the round; the lowest hand wins the difference, plus 10 for undercutting the knocker. First to 150 points wins.
